Independent living is about choice and control.
West Limerick Independent Living CLG is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee. We support people with disabilities to live independently, with dignity, choice and control over their own lives.
Who we are
Rooted in the Independent Living movement
Established in 1997, WLIL has grown into a provider of Personal Assistant, Home Support and accessible transport supports across Limerick City and County and parts of North Tipperary.
Our approach recognises the right of people with disabilities to make decisions about their own lives and to participate in their homes, communities, education, employment and social activities.

WLIL is governed by a voluntary Board that provides strategic direction, oversight and accountability.
Company Secretary: Gerard O'Connor is an employee of WLIL and serves as Company Secretary. He is not a voting member of the Board and does not have Board voting rights.
