West Limerick Independent Living CLG is the data controller for personal information processed as part of Personal Assistant, Home Support and related service delivery. Privacy enquiries can be sent to info@limerickcil.com or made by phone on 069 77320.
Depending on your service, records may include contact details, HSE allocation information, disability or health-related information, communication and accessibility needs, emergency contacts, assessments, Service Agreement, Activity/Care Plan, risk assessments, service notes, incidents, consent, safeguarding, complaints and reviews.
To assess and arrange services, plan and deliver person-centred support, manage risks, communicate with you, review quality and safety, manage safeguarding and complaints, meet funding and governance requirements and comply with legal obligations.
Information is shared only where there is a service, safety, safeguarding, legal or governance reason. This may include authorised WLIL staff, the HSE, safeguarding teams, emergency services, healthcare or other professionals involved in support, statutory bodies and approved service providers.
WLIL uses approved secure systems for service and governance records, including Microsoft 365 / SharePoint infrastructure and approved service-management systems. Access is restricted through organisational accounts and permissions.
Retention depends on the type of record and the current Data Retention Policy. Some records may be kept longer where legal, safety, insurance, safeguarding or claims requirements apply.
Depending on the circumstances, rights may include access, correction, restriction, erasure where applicable, objection to certain processing and the right to complain to the Data Protection Commission.
WLIL records telephone calls for training, quality assurance and protection of service users and staff in accordance with its current telephone recording policy. Callers are informed of recording arrangements.
