These documents will be reviewed by the company board, in full consultation with staff, on a regular basis.

This Feedback Form is available to provide an opportunity to comment on any policy/procedure. Your comments will be forwarded to the person responsible and will inform the yearly review cycle for updating procedures.

Safeguarding Vulnerable Persons at Risk of Abuse Policy and Procedures All persons, regardless of their circumstances have the right to be safe and to live a life free from abuse. Security of the Home Guidance for Staff The intended outcome of this set of documents is that service users are protected and are safe and secure in their own homes whilst receiving a service from West Limerick Independent Living.

Personal / intimate care Personal / intimate care should be delivered in a manner which is directed by the individual and promotes the person centred ethos of the organisation.
Service User Consent Policy Consent must be free and informed to be considered valid. West Limerick Independent Living presumed that all adults accessing its services have consent, until the contrary is proved. Consent Form
Catheter Care Policy The purpose of this policy is to ensure safe practice during the emptying of a urinary catheter bag by West Limerick Independent Living Staff.
Stoma Care Policy The purpose of this policy is to provide direction on good practice in the provision of Stoma Care to West Limerick Independent Living Service Users.
Enteral Peg Feed Policy The aim of the enteral feed policy is to ensure that service user's nutritional and fluid requirements are met, this policy aims to ensure that the safe practice of administration of enteral feed is maintained.
Behavioural Management Policy West Limerick Independent Living use a positive approach to supporting individuals who display behaviour that challenges.
Data Protection Policy West Limerick Independent Living CLG needs to gather and use certain information about individuals. These can include service users, funders, business contacts, employees and other people the organisation has a relationship with or may need to contact.
